Lucknow’s Zero-waste colonies – A pilot project for 3 years in approx. 100 colonies of Lucknow

Zero-waste concept is a lasting spirit in attaining clean and hygienic urban India. The centrality of the concept is staying with citizens as the key performer in keeping a city clean and the ULB is perceived as the governing entity enabling citizenry endeavours, mobilizing and encouraging them. In this particular case, the citizens’ collectives in form of residents’ welfare societies/ association (RWS) are engaging with Lucknow Municipal Corporation (LMC) Intermediated through technical agent (TA). Together, these 3 entities are expected to set in a process of an evolving proof of concept on zero-waste. The process is perceived for 100 colonies in Lucknow for one full year.

This indicator analyses whether Swachh Bharat Mission (SBM) staff payroll is linked with ICT based system in your ULB. For contractual staff, similar criteria be followed by releasing the monthly salary basis the attendance registered in the ICT based attendance system. This will encourage all staff (regular or contractual) to mark their attendance through ICT based attendance system.
